Dan-Wood is delighted to have received a Silver Award from Family Home magazine in its 'House of the Year 2020' competition. The award was given to the Dan-Wood Point 157A house design, for its economical design and efficient use of space on a small footprint, while still retaining its quality
of appearance and high standard of construction.
Votes were cast by both a jury of experts and readers of the magazine, one of whom commented: "Building on a small plot of land within a manageable budget can be tricky, and it needs a home that dispenses with the unnecessary and concentrates on the essentials. This is where floor plans are important so that no square metre is unused, yet the layout doesn't appear cramped. It's important that even under difficult circumstances a house doesn't look like it has been 'saved on'."
A very similar design, the 3-bedroom Point 156E, is available in the UK. You can see it here: https://www.dan-wood.co.uk/en/projects/point-156e
